Find problems in a campaign URL
Why it matters
GA4 reports UTM values exactly as written, so "Facebook" and "facebook" show up as separate sources and split your campaign numbers. These checks cover the URL itself; they can't tell whether your values match the naming convention your team agreed on.

Catching UTM Mistakes Before Launch
Broken or inconsistent UTM tags are a common cause of fragmented campaign data. The validator checks a URL for missing utm_source, utm_medium or utm_campaign, uppercase values, spaces, repeated parameters and misspelled utm_ names.
What It Can't Check
Inconsistent naming (for example 'facebook' vs 'Facebook') splits your reports in two. The validator flags case and spacing, but only a written naming convention stops values like 'fb' and 'facebook' drifting apart.
